West Sacramento, Yolo County
West Sacramento faces the state capital across the Sacramento River, joined to it by the Tower Bridge, a gold-painted lift bridge opened in 1935. The ballpark beside the bridge opened in 2000 for the River Cats, a Triple-A team, and the Athletics of the major leagues began playing home games there in 2025. A riverfront promenade runs along the levee below.
